Tonino

๐—”๐—”๐——๐—– ๐—”๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐ (๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—œ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†) A brand inspired by by Italian culture and way of life, drawing influence from the vintage signage of paninotecaโ€™s in Italy the Tonino logo was born. The best things come in 3โ€™s - since Tonino is being opened by a family trio I thought it was only fitting to create illustrations paying homage to the owners. I wanted to evoke feelings of the nostalgic of going to your nonnaโ€™s house as a kid in the use of colour and illustration style. I wanted to design a set of secondary logos which could be used seamlessly with the main logo. Inspired by old school Italian delicatessens I want these logos to be able to mix and match throughout the Tonino store. The tagline is โ€œHome away from homeโ€, Tonino will be a place where everyone is welcome and how the Italian culture originally came to Australia. It came from migrants, our grandparents or great-grandparents migrating from Italy to Australia to create a life for their family. So, here they created their home away from home.
